New renovated in 2004, this tranquil retreat is set on a 37 acre private estate, bordered to the North by the Caribbean Sea and to the South by a chain of riotous green hills and a lagoon that offers sanctuary to pelicans, egrets, dark-blue and achromatic herons, and other alien flora and fauna. In keeping with its sister property, CocoBay, Coconut Beach Club is in the main about quiet relaxation, fab food and distinct service, all in a beautiful setting. For those seeking a small more activity why not a game of tennis, horseback riding, a trip to the duty free shops of downtown St. John's, or a trek into the nearby ruins of old Fort Barrington. But so once more, you might merely prefer to lounge the days off on the beach or in your ain private hammock, your tranquility unmolested but for the quiet birdsong and the gentle caressive of sand by sea. The resort features two restaurants, one is located only yards from the beach, serving breakfast and lunch, in a tropic al fresco style.
